Restauratør Lis Holm og hendes dygtige personale sørgede for en særdeles vellavet frokost med både overraskelser, finesse og vellavenhed. Alle deltagere roste både mad og værtsskab og ingen gik hverken sultne eller tørstige fra arrangementet. We started with a glass of champagne and shared the awarded herring dish with dill, licorice and horseradish pickled herring. Hands down best and most creative herring I’ve had, as well as the hand peeled shrimps & poached egg. Followed by cold beers and the breaded fried cod with homemade remoulade - divine outer crunch and flaky inside. The smoked salmon with Japanese omelette & horseradish mayo was also a winner. We continued with another round of beers in the sun while sharing Coldings Tatar with tarragon mayo - a dish that has a very interesting story that you’ll hear about from the lovely owners! We finished off with coffee and a homemade buttery pancake with sambuca and parfait. The attention to detail in every dish is evident, a testament to their dedication to quality. They carefully pick every ingredient to make sure it’s the best of the best. Owned by a charming duo that has a passion for preserving tradition while adding their own flair. And let’s talk about value! With a Michelin award and a menu that’s both exquisite and affordable, it’s a win-win.
